We offer a welcoming space where friends can gather to play, host events, and relax in a chill, inclusive atmosphere. Whether you’re rolling dice, smashing buttons, or just hanging out, there’s always something happening at The Castle.

What started as a crowdfunded dream has grown into a hub for gaming joy in the Big Bend area – and we’re just getting started, with more exciting content coming soon.

Great place to enjoy your hobbies! Video games, board games, card games, free wifi, philosophical conversations, the works 😎 or just grab some snacks and study! Nothing like it in the area.

This is the best handout spot in Alpine for teens and adults who like tabletop, board games and video games! Keep an eye on their Facebook page for upcoming events. MTG tournaments here! Check them out, they have some pretty cool stuff! Solo but looking to play? You may find a partner for the game your hoping to play. ∆∆∆ Children are allowed under 14 only with adult supervision. No babysitters or game instructors on hand. Must be able to handle play on their own or with parent. ∆∆∆ Book parties as well. Invite all your friends to have a closed play event! It is so much fun!!!

Castle in the Sky offers a wide range of board and tabletop game demos that are available to play in-store with a nominal table fee.

Single player games, Games for Couples or Duos, 4-player games, party games and so much more are available, with more added periodically.
If you find a particular game you enjoy, a copy may be available for purchase, or ask our staff and we’ll do what we can to get it ordered for you!

Arcade Vault

With the Castle’s Arcade Vault, customers have the option to rent time on various consoles ranging from classic, retro, and modern consoles all subject to availabilty. Take a look at our Game Library to see if there is anything you’d like to play.

Rent time on a console and play any game from our Game Library at your lesiure (depending on availability.)
- The Arcade Vault will have everything from Classic Consoles like the Original Nintendo and PlayStation to Retro and Modern Consoles.
We offer videogame tournaments in-store periodically.
Looking to trade in old gear? Bring it by the Castle and we’ll check it out.
Need anything repaired? Check with us and we’ll give you a free quote!

No visit to the Castle would be complete without some snacks while enjoying the various games we have to offer!

Concession style snack options
- Pre-packaged food (chips, crackers, etc…)
- Bottle & can drinks (soda, juice, water, etc…)
Plans to expand into Cafe style options in the future

Private Events

Castle in the Sky is available for private events such as Birthday Parties, Private D&D Sessions, and more!

Private Party Rentals: $25 + $12 per Player
- 3 Hours (includes 15 minutes of cleanup time at end of party)
- Special Themed Game Catalog upon Request
- Unlimited Game Pass per Player
- One soft drink per guest (additional drinks available at cost)
- One snack per guest (additional snacks available at cost)
- Outside food allowed
